Novotel Cairo Airport – Hotel near airport in Cairo

The hotel rooms were pretty comfortable and stylistically well-furnished, despite the need to walk outside to access other parts of the property. The complimentary upgrade was a nice touch, though the breakfast was stale and the reheated food was a letdown.

I had a lovely hot shower with a rainforest shower head, although it took a bit long for my room preference to be accommodated. The bathroom was nice, but I wished for a quicker check-in process and better room assignment.

The hotel had dirty rooms with a supposedly garden view, and we had to wait for several hours just to be told to wait longer in the lobby. On the bright side, the staff went to great effort to find us and even surprised me with a birthday cake and a song. However, the room service was friendly and accommodating.
